Submission essentials
All competition entries are to be submitted as both posters and model. Posters can be submitted either as hard copies or digitally. Digital submissions are to be posted on a CD-ROM. In addition, where possible, competition entries are to be submitted online via www.ifhp2007copenhagen.dk. Online submissions in the form of illustrations and text are preferable and highly encouraged.
1. Language
Contributions must all be in at least one of the official languages of IFHP: English, German or French.
2. Entry Form
Registration is to be carried out online and/or on paper using the entry form. An entry form is to be submitted or enclosed with each project, accompanying both drawings and models.
3. Texts
Submissions are to be accompanied by explanatory texts not exceeding four typewritten A4 pages, 1600 words or 8000 characters including spaces. A separate additional copy of the text must be provided with each contribution and submitted digitally (MS Word or rich text format).
4. Posters
Illustrations (mono– or polychromatic) and accompanying text are to be presented and displayed on a poster layout within the following framework (see layout guidelines):
a. minimum: 100 cm x 100 cm
b. maximum: 100 cm x 200 cm

5. Iconic Image
Each submission should include a single clear iconic illustration serving as the sum statement of the project at large, e.g. drawing, model photo, sketch or diagram. This is to be submitted as a separate digital or hard copy independent of the poster.

CD-ROM
Format = High-resolution PDF (preferred) or JPEG 300 dpi. This resolution is to apply to the full size of the final submission (i.e. 100 cm x 100 cm or 100 cm x 200 cm).
Hard copies
Rolled or folded printed hardcopies are to be forwarded to Copenhagen, with a separate diagram indicating how and in what sequence the illustrations and the text should be mounted and displayed. Remember to include an entry form with the package.
7. Models
Max. 40 x 30 x 20 cm.
Models are to fit into a standard shipping box. For example:
a. Danish standard postage box #9: 45 cm x 32 cm x 26 cm
b. DHL Packset L: 45 cm x 35 cm x 20 cm
c. UPS Express Box: 31.5 cm x 0.95 cm x 46 cm
d. US Postal Priority Mail Box: 11” x 8.5” x 5.5” (27 cm x 21 cm x 13 cm)
Remember to include an entry form with the package.
8. Shipping Instructions
All submissions, both posters and models, are to be sent fully prepaid. All postage, shipping and handling costs are the full responsibility of the sender. The competition organizers will not assume responsibility for any shipping costs.
