There is a lot of media coverage on the rising number of megacities. But what about the world’s many smaller “second” cities and less urbanized areas? This is where the majority of urban growth is taking place. These are also the cities ranking as the world’s hottest. This is what headlined “Newsweek”, July 3, 2006. How about you?
