IMPACTS: INDICATORS: IMPLEMENTATIONS in a Danish Context
How can Denmark cope with the challenges of globalisation?
Compared to the mega cities discussed at the conference the city of Copenhagen is only a small village. But still we have something to offer. In this workshop we will discuss the future of the Øresund region. The Danish Capital ranks as number 11 in a recent ranking for overall quality of living. What does it mean? How can we continue to be an innovative and sustainable region? The traffic is growing and the region is expanding. How to cope with it? And how to cope with other urban agglomerations in Denmark [etc: the eastern part of Jutland]. We will reflect on the input given by the keynote speakers.
